The home sits on a shared block with a granny flat at the rear; however, we respect guest privacy and rarely use shared areas during stays. A friendly dog lives at the rear property and occasional neighbourhood noise may be heard. Street parking is available. Many guests love the space, convenience, and relaxed local feel. The closest boat ramp is located at Tinaburra which is only a couple of mins away. Yungaburra village is also a couple of mins drive and it is 15 min to Atherton and just over 1hr to Cairns.

A self contained, one bedroom cottage with all amenities on the edge of Herberton on the Atherton Tablelands. The cottage has a verandah with bush views and BBQ. Part of a secure 1 hectare (2 acres) estate, the cottage is 200m from the main historic homestead. There is plenty to do here, including museums, bush walking and pack donkey treks, day trips to some real outback towns and other attractions, all only 1.5 hours' drive from Cairns International Airport. Rest is a very practical 3 bedroom open planned home with a fully enclosed backyard. Sleeping up to 6 comfortably, including the family pet (please advise if they will be joining on) our home is in historic Yungaburra. Walking distance from shops and restaurants. A wonderful place to stay, rest, and continue on your adventure. You MUST read the “rules” BEFORE booking.
