Wee Wych, Hurstpierpoint-1 bedroom private annexe

Located up the private drive of Halton Shaws is the former Coach House, Wych House. Built in 1897 to house the horses of Halton Lodge this impressive dwelling enjoys a quiet spot close to the center of the bustling village of Hurstpierpoint. In 2019 the Nelson family moved in and set about renovating this beautiful Victorian property. Separate from the main house and accessed through the double garage doors is Wee Wych. This immaculately finished annexe is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom guest suite.

Historic 200yr old building, originally a basketmakers workhouse, renovated into a self contained space in a small hamlet in the stunning W.Sussex countryside. Only 11 miles from Brighton, within easy driving distance to Shoreham & Horsham, pretty villages like Hurstpierpoint & Ditching & incredible vineyards. At the south of village, we are a 5 min walk into the village up the small hill. With easy access to the South Downs and the Downslink, great for those who love the biking & hiking.

Idyllically situated down a quiet, magical lane, our oak-framed barn is surrounded by hills and woodland, with stunning views on all sides. There is instant access to beautiful countryside footpaths and bridleways. We are walking distance from a pub with a garden and good home-cooked food. Just an hour from London by train and 10 minutes drive from buzzy, cosmopolitan Brighton, we're also close to lots of pretty villages, lovely beaches, beautiful historic houses and gardens.

Our pod, tucked away near the Downs

Our timber clad garden pod is up-market glamping, with a view to the Downs. Close to Brighton, approached down a farm track, with a walk across fields to the village. On sunny days, open up the folding sliding doors and enjoy a drink on the decking. There are coffee and tea making facilities, but not for cooking. That’s why it’s only available for a few magical days at a time. (The wood burner pictured is not in use.) There is WiFi
