The Hideaway is situated in the heart of Kent in the rural village of Sole Street, Parish of Cobham & Luddesdown. We are walking distance to Sole Street Station on the Victoria line to London. Ebbsfleet & Meopham are a driving distance away so St Pancras and Victoria can be reached in 17 - 35 minutes. The location is great for people who love long walks & nature as we are surrounded by ancient unspoilt woodlands and rolling hills. We have a choice of three Forestry Commission Parks to visit.

Come and make yourself at home in this unique hand crafted miniature gite. Tucked away in the garden of a Tudor cottage, situated on the Addington village green just yards from the Angel Inn. Cottage style Kitchenette with miniature Belfast sink and cupboards. Small double raised bed with storage and dining table underneath. Fully centrally heated for those cosy winter/autumnal days. Rose Cottage, as we call it, has been painstakingly restored to create a delightful, light and cosy space.

The Snuggery is a converted outbuilding that has been set up for a cosy stay with a wood burning stove and lots of snuggly wraps to cuddle up in. The open plan interior, high vaulted ceilings and natural oak flooring create an interior which is fun, light and airy. Walking enthusiasts will enjoy walks from the back door straight on to the North Downs Way and there is a bench by the front door fitted with a heated element, perfect for warming up your walking boots. A comfortable studio apartment set apart from the main house with off road parking right outside. Guests have their own front door, and there is a private deck looking out over neighbouring farmland . The studio has a private shower room, fresh towels and sheets are provided. There is a small kitchen area with a microwave, a toaster and an air fryer. We can arrange check in and check out times to suit us both, and we are happy to advise on the local area. Please ask!

Farmers cottage

Our eco friendly freshly repainted cottage sits at the front of our family run farm. We have adopted a green approach to living with photovoltaic electric and ground source heat pump underfloor heating. This self contained one bedroom bungalow has its own front door entrance and is a huge comfortable space to relax, rest and recuperate for a short break away or after work. It is available to book for one day or more and we offer a discount for monthly bookings.

The house recently featured in Mr Bates v The Post Office, & the roundel was the actors green room.
