The Writer's Cottage at Shore Hall is a quintessential country cottage nestled into 22 acres of bucolic English countryside with a shared outdoor heated pool and tennis court. Easily accessible to London and airports, the tranquility of our grounds give our guests a peaceful retreat like no other. Boasting its historic clocktower, the Writer's Cottage includes a comfortable sitting room, spacious open-plan kitchen and dining area, and three bedrooms.

Perfect for couples, there is so much to see and do here - with restaurants, pubs and traditional tea-rooms on the doorstep. Beautiful countryside awaits those who enjoy walking - the Stour Valley runs through Clare Country Park - or why not visit historic Bury St Edmunds, with its theatres, restaurants and world-famous Greene King brewery. Wrenwood is a beautifully presented, riverside cottage in the quaint historic town of Clare. At over 250 years old and recently renovated, it is the perfect place for a relaxing break. Situated along a quiet footpath, next to the River Stour and a few minutes' walk from the High Street, it is conveniently placed to explore the delights of the Suffolk and Essex countryside. With its inglenook fireplaces, exposed beams and cosy rooms, it exudes country charm.

Luxury cottage in the centre of Lavenham

This beautifully restored period cottage offers luxury boutique accommodation, is centrally located within the village and within easy walking distance to numerous pubs, eateries and specialty shops. Lavenham is considered to be England's most well-preserved medieval town. With its winding streets, timber-framed buildings and quaint cottages, it is also Suffolk's prettiest wool town and is ideally located to explore the beautiful Suffolk countryside.

The house has a sitting room, kitchen and a charming courtyard garden with small pond. Excellent cafes, restaurants, pubs, supermarkets, unique shops and antiques are all within 100 yards. Upstairs are a double and single bedroom, and a bathroom with separate bath and power shower.

Buntings Barn

Get away from it all and stay at a country retreat, complementary breakfast basket, water, tea coffee sugar milk and biscuits and snacks. Fresh Pizza menu available, and wine or Prosecco for guests staying on a Friday or Saturday night. Not far from Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds, village location offering two pubs in walking distance, very close to Clare, Long Melford and Lavenham.
