Nestled next to the back walking trail and a short drive down from the office, this cabin is the perfect retreat for the adventurous soul. The cabin has a window unit, and a portable heater. The unit also comes with two Coleman cots, pillows, and bed linens inside ready for you to make up. The restroom and shower are a short walk away, as well as the amenity center.

Wine and beer tastings are available on demand, as well as access to the nearby tasting room. Cows and horses frequently come up to say hi. Sunsets, sunrises, and night skies are gorgeous and we’re only 20 minutes from Fredericksburg.

Studio Tents

Walden Retreats is a luxury camping retreat located a few miles outside of Johnson City on 96 acres. Our studios are 440 sq ft luxury safari tents that feature a wrap around deck, private outdoor shower and fire pit. Each tent has air conditioning, king size bed, kitchen, and private bathroom. Maximum occupancy in studios is 2 guests. If you need additional space, the suites are a larger option.
