Our country cottage has been completely renovated into a beautiful and stylish home. It is situated in an idyllic setting overlooking a stream in the North Yorkshire countryside, 4 miles from the small market town of Malton. This is an extremely peaceful place, entirely surrounded by fields. The cottage is semi-detached with a quiet neighbour. The cottage accommodates 4 adults, a child and a baby, in 3 upstairs bedrooms: 1 (king) double, 1 with two singles, 1 with smaller bed and travel cot.

With its double height vaulted ceiling and full height double aspect windows the open plan kitchen living diner offers a light and airy space to unwind and enjoy the view of surrounding fields. The bedroom has a Kingsize bed, Egyptian cotton sheets and En-Suite shower room. The Bathroom offers complimentary Bramley products and cotton bathrobes. Both areas are underfloor heated. The Woodland Garden, has a fantastic selection of mature Rhododendrons and azaleas extends to 1.5 acres, a fire pit with seating for 8-10, Two Decked areas, woodland pathway to access Allerthorpe Common. York is 20 min by car. Country Houses , Sledmere, Castle Howard and Burton Agnes are all within a 30 minute drive. Family/ friends, Male or Female groups welcome. A max of 2 dogs which are chargable.

High Grange Lodge

Beautiful newly built Lodge which allows space for 4 guests 1 bedroom 1 sofa bed, bathroom , overlooking a large pond. Private access with ample parking. Large decked area, enclosed hot tub (available as an extra), picnic table with large fire pit, large dog walking area down the field when conditions allow. Very private and secluded. All electric in the lodge. Far reaching views to the Yorkshire Wolds. York is approx 10 miles, local village with a Co-op and pubs/restaurants is 2 miles away.

We are in the countryside but only 2 miles from local amenities. Pocklington is 2 miles, The beautiful city of York is 12 miles, the coast is only an hours drive.
