Escape to a peaceful cabin on 5 wooded acres, tucked down a private lane with just one neighbor. Surrounded by nature, you may spot deer, turkeys, or even an eagle overhead. This cozy retreat offers true “middle of nowhere” serenity while still being conveniently located just 20–30 minutes from Perryville, Marble Hill, Fredericktown, and Jackson, with easy access to Hwy 72. Centrally situated for exploring the region, it’s the perfect rural getaway to relax, unwind, and reconnect with nature.

This cozy, newly remodeled, and inviting cabin offers you a relaxing, serene, and tranquil setting. During your stay you will see nature at its finest. Enjoy a drink on the large deck overlooking the picturesque landscape as well as the lake. If you enjoy fishing then this stocked lake is the place for you. Feel free to fish on the bank or the dock. This cabin is part of the original homestead that was established in 1855 by Valentine Kimber. Located close to wine trails and interstate 57.

Hutchins Creek Cabin -2br- Wine Trail & Wilderness

Hutchins Creek Cabin is located along spring-fed Hutchins Creek, surrounded by Shawnee National Forest Wilderness Areas, and at the south edge of the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail. Featuring an open floor plan with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, it can comfortably sleep 4-6 adults. There are multiple outdoor spaces including a fire pit, decks, and a screened-in porch. No TV, but satellite WiFi available. The cabin was our home for 8 years, we still visit often, and love sharing this place w/ others.

The kitchen is stocked, the hot tub is ready to go, and the local area boasts many wineries, state parks for hiking, and beautiful scenery. This spacious cabin features a comfortable King bed, 55” TV above a gas fireplace, and recently had a top to bottom renovation! The spacious back deck features a large hot tub just steps from the back door, hooks for the provided terry cloth robes, and a Weber grill.

Just 2 miles down the road from Bald Knob Cross of Peace. This studio style cabin was recently renovated and has a fully functioning kitchen. Bald Knob Cabin is the ideal location to unplug and put your feet up after a long day hiking trails or traveling the Shawnee Wine Trail that flows through the cozy, inviting town of Alto Pass.

Rusted Route Farms is a history rich farm that is nestled in the country. Originally built as a homestead, it boasts a spring fed pond, creek, a 1900's Sears Crafted Barn now used for weddings and events. A porch laced around its front. Large back patio with a grill, fire pit and out door fireplace. A lofted ceiling extended from its roof where the house once had an open-air center breezeway. The open floor plan makes connecting a dream. You'll fall in love with this cabin!

Come enjoy your stay at our comfortable 4 bedroom lodge. The lodge has 3 large private bedrooms, each with a queen bed, the 4th bedroom has 2 twin beds. The lodge has a maximum occupancy of 8 people with 2 full bathrooms. The lodge is perfect for a family vacation, reunions and couples. 2 TVs with satellite, and a DVD on 1 TV (bring your favorite movies). A hot tub, gas grill, fire pit, fishing pond (bring your own fishing equipment) and an open lounging deck is available.
