Canter Ridge Cottage - East Deep Creek

Our convenient modern cottage is fully renovated and to retain its warm and cozy cottage feel, with the interior being flooded with natural light offering views from both rooms. The master bedroom has a comfortable queen bed with soft sheets and a sofa bed in the living area, ceiling fan, reverse cycle air conditioning, and several windows which makes for a nice breeze. The open plan living has a fully equipped kitchen-laundry and the private courtyard has a BBQ, outdoor seating and fire pit.

The forest cabin is a beautiful hand crafted hardwood cabin. Handmade from recycled and locally sourced products. A dedicated driveway and yard ensure your privacy. Backing onto lush forest is home to many birds and native animals and plants. An indoor fireplace and outside fire circle will keep you cosy during your stay, all firewood provided. Beyond the private yard, we live with our 2 young boys and little old friendly dog.

Start the day with a fresh coffee made at Soma Soma just over the train tracks from the Historic Mary Valley Rattler. You could grab a ticket on the train to enjoy a scenic trip through the hills of Gympie Region or take a walk down to the town that saved Queensland.
