This secluded property nestles in a forest setting, 5 min to fine dining, 30 min to downtown Calgary, an hour to Banff, Norquay, Sunshine Village. Cuddle up by the fire as it snows outside, relax in the hot tub after a full day of skiing. In the evening the wood fireplace will make the coolest night cosy. This is an excellent place for 1 or more families to stay together on holiday, over 2500 sq ft, enough privacy and space for all!

Walk a block to one of the wonderful restaurants, pubs, and shops or wander down to the Elbow River. Hiking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and fat-biking in West Bragg Creek and Kananaskis Country are 15 minutes away by car. Only a 25 minute drive to downtown Calgary and 45 minutes to the airport. Banff and Canmore are only an hour away.

Raven’s Nest Cabin-tucked away in the trees

Totally disconnect at the Raven’s Nest a back to basics rustic tiny cabin tucked away in the trees. The cabin is close to the main residence but completely private with a private gated entrance and free parking a short walk to the cabin. The cabin is heated by a small wood stove and an oil heater, has a small kitchen area and a loft with a queen bed. Please note there is no running water and the bathroom is an outhouse a short walk away. There is no cell service or wifi at the cabin.

Guests may also enjoy the small shack with single bed, on top of the hill, offering unobstructed mountain views. Hiking trails and horseback riding nearby.

Beautiful rustic off-grid straw bale cabin surrounded by unspoiled nature and working ranch lands, located between Calgary and Canmore. Running water May-Oct, wood stove and old-fashioned outhouse. Cozy and simple with all the comforts you need. We lived in this little cabin with two toddlers for over a year while we built our house and it has everything you need to be comfortable. It is magical in the winter. Fun fact: A full length feature film was recently filmed here!
