This recently converted self contained private detached modern annexe is located within 15 minutes walk of Durham City centre with its world class University and Cathedral and is great for both holiday and business travellers. The Annexe is in the grounds of our larger house occupied by us, situated at the end of a private road near to Durham City centre. The annexe is totally self contained and has its own allocated parking space next to it together with private decked area with Cathedral views

Countryside location, 100m from village main street with local pubs, shops and restaurants. 15-20 mins from Newcastle, Bus stop 50m away, Train station 10mins walk. Recently refurbished the Old Stables at The Brow is a spacious stone built 2 bedroom (1 twin, 1 kingsize) flat with sofa bed, travelcot & offstreet parking. Multipurpose set up for those travelling with kids, enjoying the countryside, walks, golf, cycling or visiting the city. We live next door so can help with most arrangements.

There is a shower room and a small kitchen area with a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. Wool-based insulation and central heating keep the hut cosy warm and welcoming at any time of year. Thing to see include:- Beamish Museum (a must see!!), The Roman Wall, Durham City, Kilhope Lead mining Museum, The Metro Centre (shop 'til you drop). The C2C cycle track is also close.

For Parking The nearest multi-storey Is 5 mins away on Dean Street NE1 1PG It’s 2.10 an hour between 8am and 7pm and free over night. Sometimes in the summer the famous Tyne Bridge Kittiwake’s can be a little noisy.

The Annexe on High Woodside Farm is an ideal location for couples or families who want to visit the North East of England It is a 15 minute drive to Durham and a 30 minute drive to Newcastle and Sunderland a 40 minute drive. The Annexe has an open plan kitchen, diner and lounge on the ground floor with a bathroom, consisting of toilet, sink and shower and 2 bedrooms on the first floor. It is very light and modern and has a small courtyard.
