The Highland Hideaway (with Highland cows!)

The Highland Hideaway is a perfect place for the whole family to relax and enjoy. A small herd of Highland cows live here. A wet-weather creek is just behind the house, with a rock bluff and fire pit. There is a foos ball table and massage chair for your enjoyment after a day of hiking. The Hideaway is located 3 miles from Carver Landing. You'll be within easy access to SO MANY gorgeous places, including the national park. There is a second home on the property that can also be booked.

You'll love this unique and romantic escape from the moment you step onto the deck. Start your morning with a coffee (made any of 4 different ways) or tea at the bistro table. Get away from it all at our newly built cabin on the Buffalo National River park. It’s private but close to great hiking, canoeing and eating spots. Grab a book and a coffee and enjoy peace and quiet--and mountain views--from every room. You might also spot deer, hummingbirds and rabbits from our two relaxing decks! Pets are not allowed and will be required to leave immediately. Rates are based on guest count. Please include an accurate count when booking. It will be verified on arrival.
