Kootenay Nile Guest Suite is a family friendly, artist designed space. Whether you’re utilizing us as a jumping off point for local mountain adventures like biking at the Mt. Abriel trail system, back country and X-country skiing, or a multi-venue natural and man-made hotsprings tour, you’ll love returning home to comfy beds.

Beautiful Soaker Tub, King Bed, and Comfy Space

I have endeavored to create a comfortable space that provides a wonderful base for adventuring. The walls are covered in local art, I love showcasing local artisans. Paintings are reminiscent of Nelson and are for sale. The beautiful king sized bed and live edge wood counters are taken from sustainably harvested trees and created by a local craftsman. The upstairs is spacious and features a wood burning stove. The downstairs is a beautiful grotto bathroom with a sunken tub big enough for two.

Our 1100 sq. ft suite includes 2 extra comfortable queen beds, a luxurious kitchen & laundry. Covered deck with eating & lounging areas by a calming pond. A private hammock sanctuary overlooking Baerg Creek. Hike Saddle Mnt. Stroll the waterfront walkway. Mtn bike Mt. Abriel. Nakusp, Halcyon, Halfway and St. Leon Hot Springs.

Accommodating up to 6 guests, it has a private queen bedroom, a loft with a king bed, and a hide-a-bed. Enjoy home-cooked meals in the full kitchen or on the bbq. The area is well known for amazing hot springs, unspoiled landscapes, and a wild array of outdoor activities for all seasons. Enjoy the panoramic views and sunsets from the expansive deck in the private hot tub. Make memories (and s'mores) around the waterfront fire pit in the evening, while enjoying your private beach during the day. Perfect for romantic getaways or a fun family/friends retreat.

Located just off the Main street in Nakusp, near restaurants and stores, the lake and beautiful boardwalk. A small and cozy suite, this air conditioned unit has a kitchenette serviced with a fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee pot and dishes . Washer/dryer in suite. Private bathroom. Queen sized bed. Plenty of parking. We have a no pets and no smoking policy. Hot springs, mountain biking, hiking, cross country skiing and snow shoeing in winter, kayaking, boating and swimming in the summer.

Five minutes drive from downtown and 15 minutes from Whitewater ski area, provides refreshing hikes and skiing opportunities close by. Close access to shopping and restaurants. John's Walk lakeside path passes right by the house, leading you to attractive Lakeside Park. Our beach provides a peaceful spot to relax on the lake shore.

The locally sourced charred cedar cabin is truly one of a kind in this area. This one bedroom cabin functions as a home with kitchen. The view is truly incredible. Tucked up on the mountain side: a scenic 10 minute drive from Nelson, 20 mins to White Water ski resort rd. Enjoy golf, fishing all the beauty, adventure and amenities the Kootenay’s have to offer.

Stay in our spacious, rustic log-home guest suite in a peaceful and private setting, surrounded by a rock-walled flower garden and a forest of fir, larch and cedar trees. Enjoy a partial view of the mountains from the patio. Visit our hobby farm and say 'hi' to our friendly animals :) We are located on the edge of town, just 5 mins away from cafes, stores and the beach in scenic downtown Nakusp. We are only a 3 min drive to the golf course and 20 mins to the Nakusp hotsprings.

Sun Beam Retreat

A cozy and bright, completely off-grid Cottage in the Woods with wood stove, large open main level, & loft with queen bed. Facilities include outhouse, outdoor shower with instant hot water, outdoor kitchen with camp stove, BBQ & cooler, bring ice. Sauna is available for use (bring bathrobe). Cottage is completely private & separate from main house. Breakfast included M-F. Weekend breakfast, vegetarian dinner, & massage are available upon request, before arrival, at extra cost.
