The Lodge at Spring Farm Alpacas

"The Lodge" is a beautifully finished self contained holiday let in the middle of a working alpaca farm with over 100 alpacas and llamas grazing in wildflower meadows surrounding The Lodge. The Lodge is fully equipped with modern facilities. Tastefully decorated, fully insulated and centrally heated, The Lodge is perfect for peace and tranquillity whilst maintaining every creature comfort. We have also added a patio with table and bench seating to better appreciate the surroundings and alpacas!

Tom’s Lodge, named after my late father who was a carpenter, is a wooden cabin situated on a small working farm in the heart of East Sussex in the picturesque village of Piltdown. It is located off a country lane so is very peaceful & surrounded by countryside for many different walks & the renowned Piltdown Golf Club is only a stone's throw away. The view from the lodge overlooks the farm and surrounding fields, providing a perfect backdrop to savour your morning coffee on your private patio.

Relax by the cosy log burner, cook in the fully fitted kitchen, and wake to magical lake views from the bedroom. In spring, enjoy the woodland with bluebells and delicate flowers; summer brings long golden evenings over the lake, and autumn paints the trees in rich, vibrant colours. Step outside to gentle ripples, watch wildlife, or visit East Hoathly village with its café, shop, and pub just minutes away.

THE FOREST MALTHOUSE on the Ashdown Forest is a luxurious, spacious, detached, 1 bedroom, converted barn dating from 1822 with wonderful views over the forest. The Vaulted Oak Framed barn offers guests an extremely high standard of countryside self-catering accommodation with endless walks on your doorstep & a large, open plan kitchen & living/dining room. In a quiet, rural setting, with secure gated parking it's an ideal base for walking, cycling, fishing, bird watching or simply relaxing.

Unique Stay in a fabulous converted DOUBLE DECKER BUS! Unwind in the rooftop Hot Tub after a day of wandering the Bluebell Woods, playing Crazy Golf on site, exploring the nearby Ashdown Forest or the local Vineyard for Wine Tasting or enjoying the onsite Ice Cream parlour. The bus boasts a super comfy double bed downstairs and European sized bunks up top! Heating upstairs & Down, as well as heated blankets to keep it nice and cozy in the colder months! Spa with hot tub and sauna all heated via a log burner for the ultimate retreat break. Guest house in large gardens, king sized bed, small kitchen and en-suite. Many local attractions near Brighton Gatwick Airport and the South Downs! Pull out double sofa bed, works well for smaller family’s. Stunning 25 meter swimming pond, water is crystal clear. Large deck and sun-loungers by the swimming pond. We use the garden too, it’s part of our home but there is plenty of opportunity for privacy.

Buxted train station, offers easy access for shopping in the local town and is a direct line to London.

Enjoy feeding the fish, you might even see the heron on his daily visit! No fishing please. We are set in 4 acres with beautiful walks to Buxted Park, Ashdown Forest. There are two pubs within a short walk, both excellent food. Our lodge is fitted out to provide a comfortable stay with nature in abundance.
