Beautiful walks,cycling and relaxation await you from your doorstep. Chatsworth House, Hadden and Thornbridge hall, Bakewell and Buxton are all within easy reach, as is the Monsal Trail.

Newly renovated in 2018 this one bed, one bath cottage is set in an idyllic rural location with breath-taking views and direct access across the owners' fields to a footpath which leads either down to the famously picturesque village of Ashford-in-the-Water or uphill to the drama of Monsal Head. The Railway Carriage/Shepherds Hut is located in the Peak District, Derbyshire within the picturesque grounds of our small remote campsite. It has its own private garden surrounded by drystone walls and amazing views of the surrounding area. Designed and finished to a high contemporary standard while also maintaining the heritage of the 1930s railway carriage. Surprisingly spacious it has an en suite shower room, kitchen, sofa, a wood burning stove and a double bed.
