Quiet village getaway 20 mins from Alton Towers

This property was the old parish room which we have sympathetically given a make over. Lots of original features have been untouched. The photos do not do this property justice with its double height ceilings and huge log burner. A real hidden gem tucked away but close to everything. A great stay for those wanting a quiet couple of days or the thrills of Alton towers. Please note the sofabed is for under 15’ If you have 2 small children that don't mind sharing then we don't mind. Maple lodge is a beautiful dog friendly conversion set in the glorious Staffordshire countryside with lovely rural views. Perfect for couples, families and friends to enjoy a peaceful getaway, countryside walks and visits to local places of interest. The lodge is situated between the villages of Yoxall and Hamstall Ridware. There are 3 local pubs serving food, a farm shop and cafe, and a local award winning butchers, artisan bakery and gift shop all within a 30 minute walk.

Close to both Burton Town Centre (15 minute drive) and Lichfield City Centre (20-25 minute drive). Perfect for festivals and events held at Catton Hall (only a 10 minute walk away) Owners live in the adjacent property and own a large but very friendly dog (who is kept in his own fenced-off area). The garden is a shared area between the bungalow and the owners.
