The Red Apartment

The Red Apartment is a recently renovated, one bedroom property, located in central Stornoway on the main road into the town. It is across the road from the entrance to the beautiful Lews Castle Grounds and the Stornoway Golf Course. The Co-op supermarket, Spar petrol station and the award winning Charles Macleod butchers are within walking distance. It is well equipped with everything you need for your stay. An ideal accommodation for a couple looking to explore the Western Isles.

Two bedroom wooden cabin overlooking the Minch

Make some memories at this unique small house on a private croft hosted by Grant & Lorna who are from Harris and live 300m next door to the cabin. Our cabin has 2 bedrooms with 2 double beds, and a large open plan living space with kitchen. We are 10 minutes from Tarbert and 30 mins from the west side beaches. A wood burning stove will keep you warm in the evenings. A large wrap around balcony is lovely for sitting outside and watching the seals and otters in the bay.

Fisherman's Cottage

Welcome to fisherman's cottage: a calm space great for families or couples. A former cow byre built in 1850, the cottage is tucked down a lane out of the worst of the winter storms. So whilst the cottage doesn’t have sea views, it overlooks our little woodland nature garden. Just five minutes from Stornaway ferry terminal and bus station, and under ten minutes by car from the airport, this cosy cottage is a great base from which to explore the Isles of Lewis and Harris.

Bayview Croft House was built in the 1930s and has remained in the same family ever since. It is a traditional two bedroomed detached holiday cottage with the world famous Callanish stones right on its doorstep. If you are an outdoor enthusiast there are many local beaches and areas of outstanding natural beauty all within easy reach. As well as good opportunities for fresh and salt water fishing within walking distance. Sorry we do not take pets.

The Wee Wooden Yurt at Caolas Gallery is a green roofed, original wooden round house with picture windows giving an uninterrupted view of the sea across to the Isle of Scalpay and South East Harris. The property enjoys a southerly aspect with masses of natural light, is well insulated, warm and cosy

Lovely new modern cottage in rural crofting community west coast of the Isle of Lewis, Scotland, UK. It is situated in a quiet neighbourhood. The gaelic language is spoken in the village. There is a Harris Tweed mill in the village. There are lots of lovely sandy beaches near the cottage, one within a 10 to 15 minute walk depending on your ability. Other lovely beaches within a short driving distance from cottage.
