Accommodation is located just outside the village of Kington Magna, north Dorset between Shaftesbury, 7 miles, and Sherborne, 9 miles, and set in the owner’s grounds. Well situated for visits to the many National Trust properties in the area, the sea (about 45 mins), Bath and Salisbury (both 50 mins). Living area (kitchen/lounge) is on the first floor with double bedroom/ensuite bathroom and on ground floor twin bedroom/shower. Garden with patio and furniture. No smoking. One pet considered.

Historic attractions like The Newt, Sherborne Castle, Stourhead and Longleat are within easy reach, as is the ancient hilltop town of Shaftesbury. Stalbridge has everything you need, with cafes, an award winning independent supermarket, takeaways, post office, a pub, an Indian restaurant, and plenty of countryside walks to enjoy.

The house is located within an equestrian farm estate and only 5 minutes walk to an award winning pub and Spar shop in the village. Centrally located for fun packed days out from Stonehenge, Stourhead, Longleat, Gold Hill, to Monkey World, Sherborne Castle and the Jurassic Coast. It’s also a very short drive to the popular Todber fishing lakes and historic Shaftesbury.

It has all the conveniences: Wood burning stove, underfloor heating, Washer & tumble dryer, Iron & ironing board, fast fibre optic broadband and a charging station for an electric or plug in hybrid car, but sadly the mobile phone signal is very poor. The house is next to the pub and a stones throw from the church. The Newt and Hauser Wirth Gallery in Bruton are within a 15 minute drive.
