Sitting above the valley we are always stunned by the silence and sunsets that bless our location. The pod itself is beautifully designed in shiplap wood, the interior offers a cosy bedroom area, a kitchen with smart use of space, a living and dining area with lots of natural light from a panoramic window and a bathroom with shower. Located only 4.7km from the local town Claremorris, which has boutiques, supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, & great sports facilities (tennis, equestrian, gym and indoor pool, athletics track, etc). A good base for visitors who wish to explore Connemara & the West of Ireland while still feeling the comfort of home. Suitable for couples, adventurers, business travellers, and families.

An ideal location to use as a base for the wild Atlantic way with Galway, Westport, Sligo less than an hours drive away. 15 km to Knock airport, 3 km to knock, 2 to Claremorris. The house offers 2 living areas, spacious kitchen\dining room, 3 beds, 2 bath. The house offers a mix of modern and traditional features, with fully equipped kitchen, wood burner, oil central heating, WiFi and modern amenities.

Cosy Cottage

Kick back and relax in this calm, cosy space in the rolling countryside and just a 40 minute drive from Knock Airport. For something more lively there’s Westport and Castlebar, with their shops, bars and the beautiful coastline and beaches of the Wild Atlantic Way. The 2 friendly cats, Muffin and Bruce, prefer to live outside but like to say hello. When not away working, I stay in a chalet on a separate piece of land close by but not overlooking the cottage. I do respect guest privacy.

Unique Hot-tub Chalet with Balcony Views

ÈALÚ direct Irish translation for ESCAPE is the name of this unique place. This little oasis is positioned on a south facing hill, overlooking a wide expanse of valley, tucked away from everything but yet a 5min drive from Westport Town. A wood-fired hot tub sits on the spacious deck, overlooking the valley. After bathing in the hot tub make your way up the external staircase to the balcony (which connects to the bedroom), where you can relax in the hammock and take in the amazing views.

Little Sea House

Little Sea House has spectacular sea views on the wild Atlantic coast in Connemara. Resting peacefully at the end of a private lane, you’ll hear only wind, waves and birds. Relax and watch the light change over the sea, watch the sunset and the stars appear in a sky without light pollution. You have access to the shore with an abundance of scenic walking and beautiful beaches nearby. You are 3 km from the Wild Atlantic Way and near Mace Head which has the cleanest air in Europe.

Amble down the lane to the picturesque lake (some hardy souls might brave a quick dip!). Recharge in a superking bed dressed in quality bed linens and revive in the ensuite rainforest shower. The kitchenette has everything needed for simple meal prep, and your private patio is fully furnished for Al fresco dining.

Rushbrook Chalet

This is a small yet bright and airy studio chalet with a large veranda that serves as an extension of the living area allowing for alfresco dining, relaxing down-time overlooking a natural, calming vista or an opportunity for some early morning yoga stretches for those so incline.The setting is tranquil and secluded, approx 7km from Westport town and 2 km from a local shop. Food is supplied for a light continental style breakfast.
