The Acorn Guest House

The Acorn Guest House is a two-level, self-contained accommodation located 2 minutes from the ferry landing in Balfour, BC and only 30 minutes from Nelson. Features include a full kitchen, 2 bedrooms with queen beds, 1 ½ baths, a washer and dryer, patio and balcony, fire pit, and plenty of free parking with room for RV's or Trailers. John's Walk lakeside path passes right by the house, leading you to attractive Lakeside Park. Our beach provides a peaceful spot to relax on the lake shore.

A Peaceful and Private Studio Suite

A beautiful suite nestled in nature. It is located just outside of Balfour with access to the ferry landing, balfour store, a gas station and bakery. Ainsworth Hotsprings is a short 15 min drive, Kokanee Creek Provincial Park is 10 minutes away and Balfour Golf Course is even closer! Nelson and all its amenities is about a 25 minute jaunt. 4 wheel drive is recommended during winter weather as the last little stretch is a little steeper. Winter weather can be unpredictable.
