Cuckoostone Barn is an excellent base to explore the wonders of the Peak District National Park, with amazing walks and cycle routes on the doorstep, or a place to simply relax and unwind in an idyllic part of the world .

Hut in the Hills Peak District, Unique & Tranquil

A perfect tucked away escape located in the stunning Peak District. A traditional Shepherd's Hut set on the edge of a large open field with rolling views of the countryside. A very secluded spot, pure escapism! Quirky & unique perfect to unwind away from the bustle of daily life. The hut sleeps two in a double bed. All bedding and towels are provided. In order to not make the Shepherd's Hut too cramped we have a separate utilities hut just a few feet away.

Stable Cottage is a delightful hideaway in the lovely hamlet of Elkstones in the Peak District. Affording a little taste of country living with views over 'The Secret Valley' being enjoyed from the outside seating area.Enjoy waking up to the sound of a wood pecker and falling asleep to the hooting of an owl.  (Unless they are on holiday themselves) . Take a stroll across our fields to join the Manifold Way, an ideal starting point to explore the endless walking or cycling routes in the area. Or take a shallow paddle or a wild swim in the natural pool in the river Manifold, which runs alongside the stable. The Old Stable itself offers flexible, stylish and cosy accommodation to suit families or friends.
