Spacious newly renovated cottage located in peaceful Mayo countryside, close to popular fishing lakes, 30 mins from Ireland West Airport, 15 mins from Castlebar, 25 mins from Ballina and 5 mins from the Green Way located at Tourlough House and Country Life Museum. Pontoon freshwater beach is 10 mins drive, Ennischrone, Killalla and Westport are 30 mins away and boast fabulous beaches. The house sleeps 8 people and is newly renovated. Mini bus available to book for airport transfers and outings.

Cosy Cottage

Kick back and relax in this calm, cosy space in the rolling countryside and just a 40 minute drive from Knock Airport. For something more lively there’s Westport and Castlebar, with their shops, bars and the beautiful coastline and beaches of the Wild Atlantic Way. The 2 friendly cats, Muffin and Bruce, prefer to live outside but like to say hello. When not away working, I stay in a chalet on a separate piece of land close by but not overlooking the cottage. I do respect guest privacy.

Ballina Town is only 8km away. Combine your stay with the perfect pint of Guinness and a chat with the locals, next door!

The Garden shed at The Roost

The garden shed is a perfect little escape from the hustle and bustle of Westport town but yet you are within 5 minutes walking distance from the centre of town. Located at the bottom of the garden of the Main house aka The Roost. The shed is tucked away and guests have their own private patio area under a lean to. Inside there is a spacious living/dining area, a super king comfy bed dressed in 100 percent linen. This space is perfect for couples who want a quiet weekend away in Mayo.

Our house has just been totally renovated and finished in January 2017. Our place is close to art and culture, restaurants and dining, and family-friendly activities. Heating and electricity is included, and an inital complementary bag of firewood is supplied for the stove.
