This apartment is situated 5 minutes off Inland Scenic Route 72 and less than 20 minutes from the friendly farming village of Geraldine. Use the apartment as a launch pad to local activities in Peel Forest (horse treks and bush walks), Lake Tekapo (ice skating, snow tubing, day spa and hot pools), Mt Cook (beautiful scenic walks and helicopter rides), or just a place to relax and escape from the hustle and bustle of town. We are a working farm running cattle, a couple of chickens and 2 dogs.

Welcome to our small farm. We are situated approximately 5km between Ashburton and Lake Hood. Close to Lake Hood for wedding guests attending weddings as well as being close enough to town. We have a two bedroom cottage. Bedroom 1 has a king bed. Bedroom 2 (recently added) can either have two singles or a super king bed. If you are after some peace and quiet this lovely little cottage is the place to come. THIS PROPERTY IS NOT SUITABLE FOR TODDLERS OR CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE 8 YEARS OLD.

The cottage accomodation is totally private set in a beautiful garden setting in the grounds of the historic school house built in 1876. 20 minutes to Methven and 1 hour to Christchurch international Airport. If your view is to have a great night's sleep to ski, whitewater raft, fish, mountain bike or hike then this is the place for you. An hours drive from Christchurch and close to skiing at Mt Hutt. We know you'll love everything the outdoors has to offer from Methven. The resort also has a spa pool, restaurant in peak season & tennis court.

Located on our 32ha farm, watch sheep grazing metres from your door, native Kereru playing in the trees above you, or head out to many surrounding activities. Note: This is a mini studio style cottage so is very small and priced accordingly.

Or you can relax in the Opuke hotpools, just a 15min walk. You won't be disappointed staying in our comfortable home.
