I am an Artist / Photographer born in Kyoto I started hosting because I love meeting people from all over the world and making new friends. This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. Private cypress bath and renovated rooms and made another entrance for the Guests. So now it is 2 separate house Please check the house rules before you book.

Our house is a privately reserved traditional Kyoto machiya townhouse. Unlike a hotel, the entire house is exclusively for your group, allowing you to enjoy a peaceful and authentic stay in a local Kyoto neighbourhood. Inside the house you will find traditional tatami rooms, natural materials such as wood and clay walls, and a small garden with an open-air bath featuring a Shigaraki ceramic tub. Many guests choose for special occasions such as honeymoons, anniversaries, or memorable journeys.

A private Satoyama retreat in the mountains of Nara, just 20 minutes from the city. This traditional one-group-per-day house is renovated with reclaimed wood and uses fresh mountain spring water. Enjoy hands-on cooking with organic rice and vegetables from our farm. Relax in a wood-fired bath, and in the morning experience a Japanese tea ceremony surrounded by nature. The nearest station is Oji Station on the JR Line (18 minutes from Osaka Tennoji Station). It is about a 20-minute bus ride from Oji Station. If you are coming by train, we will pick you up at the nearest station. The last pick-up time is 7:00 PM. After that, please use the bus. There is a lovely hot spring nearby, or you can walk there. There is a barbecue facility in the garden. Convenient access to Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, Koyasan, and Yoshino.
