Priced for 2 guests but can accomodate a maximum of 3 with a $50/night supplement for the extra guest. 2 min walk to a sandy beach; 5 min drive to town along the shoreline of Kootenay Lake; 25-30 min to the ski resort; or 30 min to Ainsworth Hotsprings. Getaway cottage on a private beach on the majestic Kootenay lake. Gorgeous view of the mountains and the city of Nelson. Right next to famous Pulpit rock hiking trail. From parking to home there are 5 stair cases & 112 steps, it's sadly not for mobility reduced individuals. If available, we ca help with your bags. Nelson is a very special city. It has many restaurants and store that offer organic foods as well as vegan options. Lots of artists and galleries to shop from or simply to visit.

By the Lake is a welcoming, private suite situated in a beautiful, modern waterfront home with a stunning view over the lake and a lovely garden with a hot tub. Five minutes drive from downtown and 15 minutes from Whitewater ski area, provides refreshing hikes and skiing opportunities close by. Close access to shopping and restaurants. John's Walk lakeside path passes right by the house, leading you to attractive Lakeside Park. Our beach provides a peaceful spot to relax on the lake shore.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway, right on the lake and nestled in the mountains. Located in a very quiet neighbourhood with a secluded beach within very short walking distance. It’s an 8 minute drive to the beautiful village of Kaslo and a 10 minute drive to Ainsworth Hot Springs. It's a 30 minute walk to the stunning ‘Fletcher Falls’; an amazing waterfall and quiet beach. There is also year round use of a hot tub which overlooks the stunning view of the lake and mountains.

The Rusty Bear - Waterfront home on Kootenay Lake.

The Rusty Bear is our awesome home in Procter Point. Our rock beach on Kootenay Lake gives way to a world of watersports possibilities including kayaking, SUP and world-class fishing. The small community of Procter offers a General Store (complete with fuel and liquor) as well as the Village Bakery (with their famous cinnamon buns). Hiking and biking the Proctologist trails are just out the front door. Golfing is around the corner. Dining, if not on our amazing deck, is a short drive.

Blue Heron micro Beach House (A-Frame)

Relax in this charming and newly renovated micro suite with your own private beach. This 400 square-foot A-frame includes your own private beach for peace and tranquility. Location is off the main highway so easy to find and very accessible but does have some highway noise. Some accessibility issues with the stairs to the loft bedroom and the 200 meter walk down to your private beach. The path winds through a small cedar forest and over the creek bridge. A little bit of forest bathing.

Directly across from the entrance to Ainsworth Hot Springs and situated on Kootenay lake. The suite is spacious and features incredible lake and mountain views, a private deck, a fully equipped kitchen, and private access to a secluded beach. It is the perfect, quiet get-away. Perfect getaway! This private, new, detached cottage is nestled just steps from Kootenay Lake in lower Nelson. With 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, sleeps 4, this tranquil space will meet your relaxing needs. Our pet friendly space is sure to please. We do allow DOGS for a fee of $60 for the stay. Sorry NO CATS. Please be sure to let Kadie know you are bringing a dog and to add it at the checkout.
