This place is in a private, residential neighborhood but only a few blocks from businesses, shopping and restaurants. There are two small parks for children to play at, nearby. The venue has a full kitchen area that can be rented for an additional fee.

The Paddock at 1208 is a house that was built in the 1920's. Former owner was a pharmacist and racing horse trainer hence the name and decor. There is a sister house across the street, The Choisser Burnett House which sleeps six and is also on Airbnb.com. Twenty minutes minutes south is the  Shawnee National Forest whose terrain spans woodlands, hills and lakes and it's wildlife includes bald eagles.

We also have a 25amp Level 2 charger available upon request for anyone needing to charge their EV while they stay!
