This beautiful barn apartment is located on Bayou Sarah Farms, Louisiana’s first and only water buffalo dairy. If you're looking to get away from hustle of the city, this is the stay for you! The space is surrounded by windows so guests can enjoy views of water buffalo grazing on rolling pastures beneath century old live oak trees. There is also a nice balcony to enjoy the views. Small kitchen with the basics. We also have a friendly farm dog, tiny pony, and cats- no animals are allowed indoors.

It is a great place to enjoy a romantic weekend, or a vacation with the kids and your pets for outdoor adventures which include hiking or biking the many trails and ravines, or capturing images of birds and other wildlife with your camera. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen for gourmet cooking and dining on the front porch.

Adirondack-style treehouse cabin surrounded by a 99,000-acre national forest. The nearby spring-fed creek is a lovely cooling-off spot with miles and miles of pristine sand-bars. This house has two beds. One is across from the wood stove. The second is in the sleeping loft. The loft has an open fourth wall and a queen mattress. It’s a cozy spot and not roomy. Please see the photos of the main room to note the loft’s ladder near the bed. •••Sports cars fare badly on old gravel roads.

Yellow Bayou Plantation is a real working farm that sits on over 100 acres along the historic Yellow Bayou. The guesthouse is located behind the main house. It has an open floor plan, a full kitchen and an antique claw foot tub. There are horses, chickens, cows & honey bees located on the property as well as a stocked fishing pond and a swimming pool. You may see a combine harvesting a crop off in the distance or beekeeping activity. Come fall in love with this rural farming area.

The Bridge: Melody House

Melody House is centered in great views and family-friendly activities. Unique outdoor living spaces, ambiance and outdoor spaces. Enter on grade and then the rear of the house is perched above the woods in the trees. Golfing, kayaking, dining, drives, tours and good food and drink are all within 15 to 30 minutes. Birdsong

This cozy and well-appointed cabin is perfect for bird watchers, writers, or those looking to experience the serenity of the woods. The first floor has a large living/dining area with a sofa, dining table, modern, fully furnished kitchen and full bathroom. There’s a double size air mattress available upstairs. The downstairs contains a bedroom with queen sized bed and full bathroom. The cabin is 8 miles north of downtown St. Francisville and close to shopping, hiking and dining.

Cabins are prewar 1940's motor court with covered parking. Each cabin features, queen bed, tv, Wifi, small bathroom with a shower, original lavatory & fixtures in the bathroom. Small kitchenette with fridge, microwave and coffee pot. 2 air conditioners and electric heaters. Restaurant onsite (Magnolia Cafe) hours Tuesday through Sunday 10am until 3 pm. Coffee shop onsite (Birdman). Come enjoy the historic motor courts with modern amenities!

This Southern-style home is a short walk to downtown on the trail along the Bluff. Sitting on the covered front porch, you can enjoy the park-like setting. Inside, are high ceilings and spacious, open living areas. There is Tupelo Cottage behind the home, connected by a breezeway which is available also. Each place has separate entrances, porches and driveways. My place is good for couples, families and business travelers.

This is our lovely cabin in the woods. Nestled in the rolling hills of the Tunica Trace, we are amongst some of the best cycling, birding, and hiking in the state. Our 41 acres boast a spring fed creek which runs year round through the tumbled down clay, sand, and loess of the toes of the Appalachians. Mixed native hardwood trees support a bevy of local wildlife.
