Welcome to our farmhouse. Built in 2018, our property was designed by the farmer himself, Sebastian who grows corn, soybeans and wheat. The field trails are awaiting! The house is inspired by the European roots of the hosts, Laura and Sebastian. You will enjoy a totally private space, with your own entrance and a private porch. Ideally located in less than 30 minutes drive from the ski slopes of Rigaud and the St Lawrence beaches, the place will allow you to rest, reconnect and recharge.

L’Orignal River Cottage

You'll have a great time at this comfortable place to stay. Enjoy the comforts of home as this property was used as a full time residence for many years. Now it is our family cottage. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, kitchen, main floor living room and basement living room (walkout) with gas fireplace. A dock is available for use June to end of August depending on water levels for when we can install and remove the dock. Please note there is a downhill slope to the river.

The unit has a Cottage/Chalet feel to it, with it's beautiful stone wall and cathedral ceiling, Equip with a kitchenette, fire place and interior jaccuzy. It is a perfect place for a romantic getaway or if you are on business but want to feel on vaccation. As soon as you drive up the lane of this private estate, you will feel peaceful. You have your own space and have no interaction with owner.

The Perched cabin is one of our three cabins. We also have the Apple Tree and the Poplar cabin. This is glamping at its best. Window walls letting light into every side. A sleeping loft. Built with logs. Well equipped for cooking. Heated with woodstove - firewood included. In the middle of the forest. A lot of trails to enjoy. No neighbours. The perfect spot to unwind. We are farmers, a precise time of arrival is important. You are welcome to visit the farm.
