My favorite places on the Suncoast are on Bradenton Beach. I get all the cozy and small-town vibes when I come here. You're living on Island Time when you're here.
Bradenton Beach is located on Anna Maria Island off the Gulf Coast and a short drive from Bradenton and Sarasota.
The area is known for its fishing piers, sugar-sand beaches and a quaint strip of shops, restaurants and other family-owned businesses.
When I say the paces slow.. I really mean it. Drive-through restaurants are prohibited here.
While on Bradenton Beach, you have take a stroll along Bridge Street. That's where you find quaint shops to buy souvenirs and great places to eat.
Near the northern end of the island on Pine Avenue, you'll find French-milled soaps, specialty olive oils, handmade clothing and small art galleries.

Bean Point is one of the most exclusive and private beach areas on Anna Maria Island.
For many years, this area was a bit of a hidden gem, but it is now considered one of the “must visit” attractions on the island.
You’ll find interesting wildlife and exciting outdoor beach scenery to photograph and view here. It’s slightly off the beaten path, but making the trek to this scenic and historic area is totally worth it.

Bean Point Beach
793 N Shore DrBean Point is one of the most exclusive and private beach areas on Anna Maria Island.
For many years, this area was a bit of a hidden gem, but it is now considered one of the “must visit” attractions on the island.
You’ll find interesting wildlife and exciting outdoor beach scenery to photograph and view here. It’s slightly off the beaten path, but making the trek to this scenic and historic area is totally worth it.
The sunsets here are absolutely unbeatable!
St. Armands Circle is located on Lido Key and is home to chic boutiques, fine dining establishments and snack bars.
Lido Beach Pool & Pavilion: Free parking adjacent to the beach. Courtesy beach wheelchairs as available. Amenities include a concession stand with covered seating, gift shop, restrooms, and 25-meter lap swimming pool.
