Bean Point is one of the most exclusive and private beach areas on Anna Maria Island. For many years, this area was a bit of a hidden gem, but it is now considered one of the “must visit” attractions on the island. You’ll find interesting wildlife and exciting outdoor beach scenery to photograph and view here. Beautiful spot to catch amazing views of Tampa Bay & the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. Crystal clear water and nice white sand. You can find entrances to Bean Point on the intersection of Gladiolus Street and North Shore Drive and Fern Street and North Shore Drive, with marked signs noting beach access points. Keep in mind that there are no facilities at Bean Point. Before you head out, be sure to use the restroom and grab a meal at one of the nearby restaurants or Bayfront Park. There are no lifeguards on duty and the beaches in the area sometimes have dangerous rip currents, so only experienced swimmers should attempt to swim.

Very close, Bean Point is the very northern tip of Anna Maria Island. It is a local secret that provides breathtaking views of the sunset on a pristine, and serene beach.

This beach reminds me so much of the Caribbean! It is absolutely exquisite!! The water is clear and turquoise and the sand is soft and white! It a very wide and expansive beach! In one word it’s BREATHTAKING! Parking is limited on side streets including Gladiola and North Shore.
