Cozy 1 bedroom with king bed, 1 bath, full kitchen, well stocked. The cabin has an open living room with gas fireplace and queen sleeper sofa. Great wifi, TV’s in living room and bedroom. Amazing two-story house nestled high up in the trees. A true treehouse! This treehouse sits amongst a forest of poplar trees and feels very secluded and private. It has spectacular views of Kentucky’s rolling hills as it looks out across the valley. This treehouse was hand built and handcrafted with love and attention to detail. Located just off of I65 outside the historical little town of Franklin, KY. We are located between Nashville (45min), Bowling Green (35min) and Mammoth Cave (55 min).

Simply Sailing-A Cottage In The Trees

Simply Sailing is a quaint one bedroom, one bath cottage that sleeps four, located at Barren River Lake. The home has everything you need for your stay. Basic cooking utensils, a charcoal grill, TV with DVD player with movies and board games are there for the perfect family vacation. We have recently added a smart TV to the bedroom. We do welcome "small" family pets ($75 non-refundable fee) "Free Wi-Fi" We also have a cabin next door that sleeps 4 for larger groups called, Fishy Business.

Our cozy Riverside Cabin is a place of peace, 15 minutes from downtown Bowling Green. Our retreat is located uniquely, between the beautiful Barren & Gasper Rivers. This is a unique, unplugged experience for a romantic get-away. We don't have WiFi, and cell service is sparse. Prepare for an experience with your favorite person, with nature flourishing all around you. We insist our guests enjoy a 5 star experience, so if there's anything you'd like provided, ask, and we'll do everything we can.

Spacious parking. 20 minute drive to Mammoth Cave, 4 miles to Barren River Dam & Dock. Unit is close to main house, so if you forget something, we have you covered.

Family farm with open space to enjoy picnics, campfires, activities and 200 acres of woods easily accessible for walks or hikes and a mini cave that children and adults can explore and a stream for fishing/wading and swimming. *For larger groups, we own another BnB, within walking distance, that sleeps 11 guests and may access to all the same activities; fire pit, farm animals and free range chickens add a rural flavor that appeals to adults and children alike. NO PETS and NO SMOKING.

If you decide to get out and explore we are just 5 minutes from trammel creek where you can go for a swim or enjoy the day kayaking. We are just 10 minutes from Bowling Green and less than 30 minutes from the corvette Museum, historic downtown Bg, and lost river cave.
