Characterful garden cottage

The Cottage is newly refurbished. It offers a blend of modern facilities with country charm and comfort for 2 people. The Cottage sits right next to our house with private parking outside the front door. Please note it is part of our property not a private space. We spend a lot of time tending our garden so are always around to help and offer information on the area. The village is well supplied with shops, pubs, restaurants and take aways. We are not set up for babies or children sadly.

Shepherd Hut in your own field!

Enjoy gorgeous sunsets, see wildlife and watch farm animals. Light the fire pit and sit out under the stars. Our off-grid shepherd hut with wood-burner makes for a warm and cosy glamping retreat, with your own private shower room and a fully equipped, covered, camp-kitchen. Dogs are welcome and will love having the run of the half hectare, enclosed field! A group of up to six people (four of them staying in your own tents) are welcome to come enjoy this beautiful countryside retreat.

Visit the village's award winning pub and other excellent local eateries then walk off the calories around Sywell Reservoir. Our best kept secret is Northamptonshire - 'the county of squires and spires'. An Ideal base for working locally: hotels can be too impersonal. Nearest rail, Wellingborough. Host lives next door.

Brixworth has a long tradition of shoemaking. Cobblers Cottage was where shoes would have been made by homeworkers. The property has its own private balcony with far reaching countryside views. Situated in a colourful garden the cottage has its own access. The prize winning cook/owner provides a superb breakfast which is included. Dinner is available on request. The Secret Corner is the perfect base to explore local areas including Woburn, Wrest Park and a short ride away to Flitwick Train Station with direct access to London St Pancras in less than an hour.
