We live in the house on the other side of the courtyard and are there to provide you with any assistance you may need with your stay, or to leave you in peace to enjoy your relaxing holiday at Les Grandes Ecures.

Originally a barn, l'Olivier is a beautifully converted, detached gite, with it's own private garden area. It sits amongst trees on the edge of the charming village of Crazannes, just a 5 minute walk from the River Charente. The nearest town is Saintes which as well as offering many places to visit with its Roman Heritage, has all your shopping needs. The small town of St Savinien is just a 5min drive and has a number of restuarants and a supermarket.

It comfortably sleeps 8 in 3 spacious bedrooms - large bedroom with 4 singles en suite upstairs and 2 double bedrooms and bathroom on ground floor. Can be booked with our smaller gite to sleep 13 in total. Awarded 4* rating by Charente Maritime Tourist Board. All bed linen and towels are provided. Welcome basket on arrival and pool towels are available.

A beautiful stone cottage set in private grounds, down its own track surrounded by cognac vineyards. A 200 year old exterior, with very modern 'Boutique Hotel' style interior with every comfort. Decking and outdoor furniture and use of swimming pool (normally open for 1st of June but can be earlier, depending on weather.)
