The Barn has been welcoming guests since 2012 and has recently been renovated to modernise and brighten the home. It was previously listed on AirBnB as Garden Lodge. Set on a very quiet lane in the gorgeous Suffolk village of Charsfield, The Barn is perfectly located for easy access to the wonderful Suffolk Coast. Crane Lodge is in a private garden set back from the main house in a secluded wooded area 5 minutes from Orford. This is a perfect peaceful retreat for those looking for a getaway amongst nature on the Suffolk Heritage Coast - a perfect base to explore nearby Snape, Aldeburgh and Southwold. Recently renovated with mezzanine living, guests have the entire Lodge to themselves with a private entrance, terraced area for outside dining/bbq and off road parking. We also welcome up to two dogs.

The coastal retreat is tucked away at the bottom of the garden. It has its own parking space which you access from the marshes. It is the perfect mix of quiet retreat and town life You can open the gate and walk straight out onto the marshes and down to the river. Or take the five min stroll into town and enjoy the beach, restaurants and all Aldeburgh has to offer. It is good for couples and solo adventurers. Our guests love the space in The Cowshed, an open plan area for just the two of you, loads of worktop and cupboard space for the preparation of meals and storage of your provisions. The garden is a real sun trap and a great place to relax and eat al fresco. We have developed a Prairie garden in part of our garden and guests are welcome to walk through the Prairie which is at its best from May. Parking: 2 parking spaces
