Newly renovated apartment with elegant finishes, 50 meters from the sea and in the center of Viareggio, a mix between classic an modern Tuscany style. A very bright open space on two levels. On the first floor you will find a large open space with kitchen, living room and lounge with double sofa bed and a terrace where you can have breakfast and also have lunch. On the second floor you will have two wide bathrooms with two large showers, washing machine and hairdryer, a double bedroom and another bedroom with one single bed and one bunk bed with three beds. In the house you will find everything you need for your holiday to welcome you such as air conditioning, 55-inch smart-TV, free and unlimited wifi, two bicycles to be able to explore practically the whole province thanks to the beautiful cycle path that from the Viareggio pier reaches the Forte dei Marmi and its renowned shopping center. A few steps away from all amenities, bars and restaurants, supermarkets and shops where you can find everything you need. Just around the corner you will reach the fabolous Promenade of Viareggio where the most prestigious brands stores are located. High chair and cot for children up to 4 years, safety gates for the stairs and a bath tub are available on request without any extra charge. A two-minute walk takes you to the stop of the extra-urban buses that daily connect Viareggio to all the main cities of Tuscany such as Lucca, Pisa, Florence and Siena. Easily reachable by a nice walk in just fifteen minutes you will find the train station that connects you to Pisa and Lucca in 20 minutes, to Florence and Siena in about an hour and a half. Pisa airport is only 30km from Viareggio and Florence 80km. At 500 meters you can embark on a boat that every day will allow you to discover the wonders of the Cinque Terre. For adventurous travelers who will appreciate the 10-minute panoramic walk to the house (we will transport your luggage and groceries by tractor). The magical view of the world below with the coast on the horizon which can be enjoyed from every room of the house and from the entire olive orchard with its walking paths and plunge pool with waterfall. Being a pedestrian village, Metato is quiet and peaceful. Yet, the beach and many great places to visit are a short drive away- Pisa, Florence, Lucca, the marble quarries of Cararra, Pietrasanta, Viareggio.... Guests have exclusive access to the pool and property. Metato is a friendly litttle village in the hills overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. There is a quaint family-run restaurant in the village that serves local homemade dishes at a very reasonable price. Our pedestrian village tends to attract kind people in search of peace and quiet and a proximity with nature. Time seems to go by more slowly here. It is a perfect base for families who want to explore Tuscany and the beaches of the Versilia coast. The home is in a beautiful, quiet location on a hill surrounded by olive orchards and vineyards just a 10-minute walk from the parking lot. Explore the medieval village of Metato where fireflies and breathtaking views await. Take an invigorating hike or head to the beaches a short drive away. There is a parking lot at the base of the village where you can park the car. The village itself is pedestrian but I am happy to greet guests at the parking lot on their arrival to transport their luggage, groceries and whoever wants to ride to the house with my little Italian tractor! The nearest airport is Pisa (45-minutes by car). All the major car rental places can be found there. The nearest train station is Viareggio.

La casa è un rustico in pietra e legno nel parco delle Alpi Apuane, un luogo ideale per chi desidera fare camminate nei boschi e conoscere e frequentare le attrattive della Versilia e della Toscana tra mare e monti .. La casa è composta da cucina completa con fornelli a gas , wi-fi , divano letto e per riscaldamento per la stagione invernale ha una stufa a legna e pompe di calore preimpostate , una camera da letto con bagno completo con doccia, un soppalco di legno con un letto singolo .

A spacious two storey house with 3 bedrooms (with air conditioned), 2 bathrooms, 2 lounges and a nice little garden for summer barbecues and “al fresco” dinners. It has just been nicely re-furnished. We can host 6 people in beds and 2 additional on sofa bed. It is located on a secondary road within walking distance from the main facilities: supermarket 3’, bus stop connected to Pisa airport 4’, railway station 7’, restaurant/pizzeria 7’. In less than 15’ walk you will get onto the beach.
