The Cottage on Dewitt is centrally located and is located just around the corner from the beautiful Fannie Willis Johnson Home, also known as Oak Hall B&B. This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. Built in 1830 and lovingly renovated for now, it’s a slice of Vicksburg’s past. The Old Courthouse museum is visible from the back courtyard and the historic downtown is just a short walk. There’s a brewery and several unique restaurants just a few blocks away in the downtown with fun shopping close by. Casinos and the National Military Park are just a short drive. Has a desk, if needed and internet provided.

Built in 1922 by the son of a Civil War Veteran, this 2 bd/ 1b cottage with a large wrap around porch sits on almost 1.5 acres in the middle of the city. During the restoration we found letters and Vicksburg artifacts that are displayed throughout the home.
