We're close enough for day trips to FL & AL beaches (about 1.5 hours). If you're into history, it's not far to the USS Alabama battleship or Fort Mims. Relax and connect with nature at this unforgettable, ADULTS ONLY, Smoke-free escape. Sit on the deck overlooking the lake (it is really a pond but we call it our lake). Build a fire in the firepit while you watch the sunset. Watch the fish eat when the feeder goes off. You may even see an otter or ducks on the water. Across the way, cows and goats may be grazing in the pasture or the farmers may be tending the field. You may even hear Ferguson (our donkey) bray. Relax and enjoy.

With just being an hour drive from Gulf Shores/Orange Beach there are endless possibilities for recreation, food, and entertainment.
