Renovated in 2022, the cabin is comfy but you can expect creaky floors, original woodwork, and a few quirks that come with age. The cabin is authentic, and thoughtfully kept. You will have TV, wifi, central heat, air conditioning but expect to hear the water pump run and there is no dishwasher.

Our cabin has two bedrooms; one with a queen bed, and the upstairs one with a queen and two twins. It has a full kitchen, full bathroom, fire pit and outdoor grills. Perfect for two couples, friends, or small families. The Ark Encounter and Kentucky Horse Park are 20min away. The Creation Museum is 45min away. A great place to relax between visits to these attractions!

Unwind at this secluded retreat nestled quietly at the end of a wooded country road, along a rolling creek. The cabin was originally two cabins erected in the 1850s. In the 1970s, artist Jim Simon dismantled the log cabins and re-erected them on the Simon Family Farm. Red Fox Ridge was named for the red fox often spotted running the ridge overlooking the river. Originally constructed in the 1790s by a Revolutionary War veteran, it was relocated to the present location in 2011, where it was reimagined with added modern conveniences. The cabin is great for history buffs and those looking for some peace and quiet in a unique setting. The cabin can be rented with our other listing, The Lodge at Three Pines, which provides an additional bedroom, bathroom, and hang out space.
