Cliff-top Coastguard's Cottage, an Off-Grid Escape

The Coastguard Cottages at Weybourne are perched on the cliff-top on the Norfolk Coast Path, with uninterrupted views of the surrounding fields and sea. The terrace was built in 1904 and to this day has no mains electricity, reflecting the handsome, solid utility of their original purpose. We have owned number 4 for over 20 years and have always delighted in escaping off-grid. We love the house, the views, swimming in the sea and letting our children run beyond calling distance. It is a very short walk away from Weybourne beach, The Ship Inn, The Maltings hotel and our village cafe and shop. We are located just off the North Norfolk coast road, very convenient for Blakeney, Cromer, Holkham and Wells Next the Sea. For a holiday to North Norfolk this is the perfect location!

It is in a quiet residential street a few minutes walk from the centre of Holt. It has a parking space with additional free on street parking available. The Holt House if perfectly situated for guests to enjoy short breaks or longer holidays. It's a short drive from the North Norfolk coast. Thursford, which hosts the Christmas Spectacular is 7 miles from Holt.

Nestled in the trees with stunning views down into a hidden, valley. Binoculars are provided to enjoy the Barn Owls, Kites, deer, foxes, badgers, rabbits, hares and squirrels that inhabit the valley. The all wood lodges have been hand built by local craftsmen; the fixtures, fittings, and beds are made from a specific species of 'wanet edged' wood. A fully fitted kitchen, mood lighting and a wood burning stove complete the cabin-in-the-woods romance of these gorgeous luxury hideaways.
