An outdoor enthusiast's paradise with walks from the doorstep, cycling, climbing and swimming in the famous Hathersage lido. A spacious, comfortable, well equipped warm home - Ideal for family get togethers. We allow one well behaved dog ( sometimes two by arrangement). Booking calendar can be misleading. This two bed cottage is in an idyllic rural location with breath-taking views. Walk through fields onto a footpath down to the picturesque village of Ashford-in-the-Water or uphill to the drama of Monsal Head. Please note - bathroom refurbishment completed March 2026. The Coach House will still offer one full family bathroom for guests to share (with sink, loo, shower-over-bath). The new en-suite ‘dressing room’ will contain a sink, toilet and vanity area but it no longer has a separate shower.

The master bedroom boasts a luxurious four poster bed and an ensuite bathroom. Next door is a spacious second bedroom with two comfortable single beds.

Bakewell is also close by, along with lots of walking opportunities.
