Very interesting history regarding WW2 - And the convenience store has cute stuff. The gas here is cheap, and the bowling alley is a bit of a family-friendly dive bar... there’s also a fantastic community theater here during “normal” times (closed at the moment). Definitely worth a visit, and great trails are nearby.

Always interesting things happening here - even when there’s nothing but a food truck and skateboarders 🤠 the Sunday farmers market is a must! (skate park section temp. closed)

A local gem, absolutely lovely people and an odd assortment of supplies. Restaurant next door has great pizza. I’m a little bias towards this shop over the Kilauea General Store... but they are both great🌋
