Welcome to Kaiku, arguably the most exceptional gated estate in Cayman Kai. This sprawling 5-6 bedroom/4.5 bath villa, with 2 bed/2 bath guesthouse, is bordered by a sixteen-foot fishtail palm privacy hedge, electric gated driveway and vacant lots on either side. Staying at Kaiku provides the utmost of privacy since the home is not visible from the road or gate. Situated on a quiet cove in Cayman Kai, guests will enjoy calm waters, excellent paddle-boarding and minimal wind in the winter. For barefoot ocean swimming, guests will want to visit the Rum Point Club, a mere 300 yards up the street. The Kaibo Marina and restaurants are also only a short 5-10 minute walk away. Accommodations for sixteen and benefits from Silver Thatch Guest Services make it an excellent choice for families or large groups of friends seeking a stylish and private alternative to a hotel or resort.
This luxurious estate is a perfect getaway for a large active family or 5 adult couples. The estate has a large freshwater pool, heated spa, large private dock and a screened porch. The pool deck has a cabana for shade, plus an outdoor BBQ area complete with sink, fridge and ice maker. 2 outdoor showers can be found on the boat dock and just off the pool deck.
One of Kaiku's best features is the exceptionally large private dock and four floating jet ski berths. If you rent a boat or jet skis, you can moor just behind the house. If you arrange a chartered sail or snorkel trip you can simply be picked up off your own private beach! No trips to the public docks necessary. The beach and calm cove are ideal for a rented Hobie cat as well. The owner provides 2 tandem kayaks for complimentary use with a signed waiver. Additional paddleboards and kayaks are available on-site for discount rental with a signed waiver*.
Those who have visited the Hawaiian Islands will feel right at home, especially at night when the grounds are illuminated with tiki torches on the beach and a lighting system that rivals Disneyworld's Polynesian Resort. The property is lovingly maintained by a non-resident groundskeeper who tends the beach M-W-F and is available to assist guests as well.
The main 5 bedroom house features clean, vaulted architecture, plenty of large windows, a modern kitchen with gas cooktop, 2 washers and dryers, 2 refrigerators, 5 flat screen TVs with HD cable programming, central A/C, a home security system with exterior cameras, an interior/exterior sound system and lighting system. The ground floor waterfront media room opens out to the pool deck and beach.
