Called the Bridge of the People., it is Portland's (aka. Bridgetown - yes, we have many alternative names for our city) newest bridge and the first bridge of it's kind (pedestrian and transit only). A great way to see the Willamette River and the city at night. The color of the bridge changes at night based on the height, temerature, and speed of the river. There is even a paved pathway from this bridge to the Steel bridge that circles the river on its east and west banks. In the Spring (March-April)., the cherry trees along the west side of the river are in full bloom and provides a great backdrop for picture taking.

A great spot to check out all the activities down on the Willamette River. The Tilikum Crossing also is a great spot to access the east bank esplanade and walk the river bank all the way up to Burnside. Also our newest bridge construction in Bridgetown!

Portland's new pedestrian and transit-only (no cars) bridge. Walk across and enjoy a beverage at Elephant's Deli, then continue on to the aerial tram for a bird's eye view of the city scape.

Portland's newest pedestrian, bike, and public transport bridge. It lights up at night! Bike or walk to it
