Town museum done very nicely with a lot of interactive stuff for adult and kids alike. Got a very nice Italian restaraunt / cafe attached.

It has the largest collection of Turner paintings outside of London. It also has other artists, of course, together with local items of interest. It also has a very good restaurant on site.

Learn more about Bedford, enjoy the fine art on display or brewing memorabilia from Charles Wells brewery. Easy to access. There’s interesting things for children and adults alike. I love the Victorian house part the best.
