Go for a short walk - summer or winter--from the doorstep to Holtane Hyttegrend. At the end of the car road where the cross country skislope goes towards Gjesdal you will find a small open hut that is free to use. Here you will find wood, amazing view, benches for the whole family and a grillpit. Bring hot chocolate, wine or grill up some food. Spend the evening outdoors and if you are really lucky...you might spot the aurora (northeren lights) dancing over you.
