Lovely local pub with fantastic Landlord and Landlady. Great for eating indoors or out. Log fires, cosy and friendly. This is about a 5 minute drive from the cottage

Local pub serving food and real ales. Closed on Mondays during the winter. Less than 5 mins in the car, approx 2 mile walk to give you an appetitie.

one of many character pubs in the area, serving a great selection of craft and cask ales along with other cocktails. In Hoylake, Weatherspoons is always a good bet for those on tight budgets, The Plasterers, the Railway or The Ship for live music and quizzes
