Hồ Tây nằm ở phía Tây Bắc nội thành Hà Nội với diện tích khoảng 500ha, đường vòng quanh hồ dài gần 20km. Nơi đây là góc lãng mạn nhất trong bức tranh Hà Nội đa màu, là thế giới của những làn gió trong trẻo, sự phóng khoáng và giàu chất thơ. Hồ Tây không chỉ là địa điểm vui chơi ở Hà Nội hấp dẫn du khách mà nó còn chứa đựng những giá trị văn hóa dân tộc. Quanh hồ hiện có hơn 20 ngôi đình, đền, chùa đã được xếp hạng với nhiều di tích nổi tiếng với nhiều văn vật giá trị như hơn 100 bia đá, 165 câu đối, 140 hoành phi, gần 20 quả chuông cổ, 60 sắc phong thần, trên 300 pho tượng bằng đồng, gỗ, đá.

This is the biggest lake of Hanoi. Very relaxing with many coffee shops and restaurants. If you are interested in old temples, this area is worth exploring.

At night, the site I want to recommend for you is Ho Tay or West Lake area, this place is very popular for foreigners in Ha Noi, with many bar, pub, or western restaurant. Near this site, there is a famous flower market, Quang An Market, that is very active from night to early morning. (You can ride motorbike (or book ride-hailing) to go there by crossing Nhat Tan bridge and take the first exit on the right side, it will take you about 15 minutes).

This is the largest lake in the city of Hanoi. There are lots of great sites around the lake such as pagodas, temples, restaurants and simply just great lake side coffee shops. Whether you're on bike or motorcycle or on foot, it will be good to explore the different neighborhood by just following to road along the lake. This is the biggest freshwater lake in Hanoi. Located right in the center of the city, it makes for a perfect evening walk. You can easily get to other places nearby and there are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops here to explore. Great photo opportunities await.
