I've never been to Building 43, but AirBnB could not find the real gem next door, Rock Wall Winery! Fantastic place to taste wine, grab a bite, and look out over San Francisco and Bay. Kid friendly.

Cute winery on Alameda Spirit Alley! Cycle there in 20 mins and enjoy a couple of glasses of wine mid afternoon or early evening. You can then hop onto Hangar 1 for Vodka tasting or Faction Brewery for beers!

Grab a taste from one of local wine breweries. On the old Navy base as well. Great views of the city across the street too.
