– A Wine, Sherry & proprietary Vermouth list designed by L.A.'s sommelier royalty, David Rosoff, paired with no-fuss "tapas" – Moruno, at The Original Farmers Market, brings a unique style of upscale casual dining to the historic public market. The warm, vibrant flavors of the southern Spanish inspired menu are supported by a wine list focusing on Spain and the deep South of France. Much of the cooking is done over live coals and highlights the Moorish and North African influence on Spanish cuisine (think cumin, coriander, paprika, turmeric) . Sherry also features prominently as does Morunos’ own proprietary Vermouth called "Vermina." By folding fine dining principles into a vibrant and welcoming environment, Moruno (and its sibling Bar Moruno at Grand Central Market, now open for takeout) delivers great value through its’ unique and approachable brand of hospitality.
