If you love old buildings, this is old and derelict and falling to pieces and kind of creepy. There are trees growing out of concrete and should it be an overcast and grey day it would be a great place to film a horror movie! There is a cold 'lake', and you can walk around the old works. Not great unless you like old buildings... but great if you do! The toilets are amazing... white tiles, really clean and a tiled artwork! Go if you like a bit of history and a bit of a walk.

A pleasant stroll down the Warkworth River from the town center will lead you to the local watering hole.

Nice swimming venue, free of charge, historic buildings dating back to the early 20th century when Warkworth was a pioneer settlement.
