Having just opened in 2017, Happy Camper is a relative newcomer to the Old Town restaurant scene. However, with an extensive menu and an adorable camp-site theme, this funky pizza place is sure to be a hit. But underage pizza enthusiasts beware: this establishment is for patrons who are 21+ only. We salute the Happy Camper crew for creating a fun, casual atmosphere with solid pizzas and beers. The pizza here has toppings ranging from the usual suspects to buffalo chicken and pulled pork, plus a crust that’s soft and airy but also crunchy on the outside. The space is the major draw, though. It’s kind of like an adult playground, with tire swing barstools, a rehabbed Airstream camper, and an enormous neon outline of the Great Lakes on the wall. If you’re looking to gather some friends and kick it indoors, there’s no better place.

The pizza here is amazing and very unique. I always have a great time here whether it be to grab drinks or to eat pizza. Gluten free options are available.
